This cheerful True Bloom Roses® variety covers its compact plant with masses of rich yellow double flowers, ranging in tone from softer blonde-yellow to bright pineapple.

Each flower reaches approximately 3 inches across and carries around 35–40 petals, creating a full, softly cupped bloom that feels much more substantial than the flowers of many traditional landscape roses.

And there's fragrance, too.

True Friendship™ carries a lovely medium sweet fragrance, often described as honeyed with touches of sugar and spice.

True Friendship™ comes from the breeding work of internationally recognized rose breeder Ping Lim.

When Ping Lim joined Altman Plants in 2012, the goal behind the True Bloom Roses® program was to create roses that could combine the traditional characteristics gardeners love—beautiful flowers, high petal counts, rich colors, and fragrance—with modern disease resistance and easier garden performance.

True Friendship™ is a wonderful example of that philosophy.

It has the full, double flower you'd expect from a traditional garden rose.
