🌹 A Rose Bred to Wander
American rose breeder Tom Carruth developed Sunset Happy Trails™ as part of the colorful Happy Trails™ groundcover collection. Unlike traditional upright roses, this variety spreads outward, creating a beautiful flowering carpet.
Its cheerful blooms combine the warmth of apricot and salmon with sunny yellow centers, while its vigorous, low-growing habit makes it especially useful for covering bare spaces in the landscape.
💛 Why Grace Rose Farm Loves It
We love roses that make the entire garden more beautiful, and Sunset Happy Trails™ does exactly that.
Its cascading branches are gorgeous spilling over stone walls, softening pathways or filling the front of a rose border. The sunset-colored flowers pair beautifully with apricot, peach and blush roses, while its continuous flowering brings color throughout the growing season.
🌿 Planting & Care
Plant your bare root rose in well-drained soil with at least six hours of direct sunlight. Spread the roots naturally in the planting hole, water thoroughly and maintain consistent moisture while the plant establishes.
Sunset Happy Trails™ is a relatively low-maintenance, disease-resistant landscape rose. Prune in early spring to remove dead or damaged growth and shape the plant as needed.
