About Easy Elegance® All the Rage Bare Root Rose Bush
Rosa ‘BAIrage’ — Easy Elegance® All the Rage PP19,945
🧬 Breeder: Ping Lim
🌹 Rose Type: Shrub Rose
🌅 Coral buds. Apricot flowers. Golden centers. Lipstick-pink finish. All the Rage doesn't settle for just one color.
All the Rage is one of those roses that seems to change every time you walk past it.
The show begins with tight coral-colored buds that swirl open into warm apricot flowers illuminated by bright yellow centers.
Then the colors change again.
As the flowers mature, they develop increasingly pink tones before finishing a rich lipstick pink.
Because All the Rage blooms steadily throughout the season, several stages of flowers can appear on the plant simultaneously—giving you coral, apricot, yellow and pink all at once.
And beneath all that color is exactly what the Easy Elegance® name promises:
A remarkably healthy, hardy, easy-care rose.

🌅 One Rose. Four Colors.
All the Rage isn't really one color.
It's an entire progression.
Coral.
Then apricot.
Then glowing yellow appears through the center.
And finally the petals age toward lipstick pink.
Because new buds and mature flowers appear together, an established plant can carry several of these colors simultaneously.
It gives the shrub a wonderfully relaxed, painterly appearance.
No two moments look quite the same.
This is a rose that changes its outfit all season long.
🧹 And Then It Cleans Up After Itself
Here's a feature busy gardeners will appreciate.
When the flowers finish blooming, they drop cleanly away.
That self-cleaning characteristic helps keep All the Rage looking fresh without requiring constant deadheading.
Combine that with its naturally rounded habit and disease-resistant foliage and you begin to understand the philosophy behind Easy Elegance®.
Beautiful roses don't necessarily need to be complicated roses.
🧬 Bred by Ping Lim
All the Rage was bred by renowned rose breeder Ping Lim, whose work has focused heavily on combining beautiful flowers with the kind of durability gardeners actually need.
Its parentage is:
‘Morden Centennial’ × ‘All That Jazz’
That's an interesting marriage.
The Canadian-bred ‘Morden Centennial’ brings a legacy of cold-climate performance, while ‘All That Jazz’ contributes to the warm color palette.
The result is a rose capable of producing beautiful, colorful flowers while remaining hardy through USDA Zone 4.
🌹 The Easy Elegance® Difference
Easy Elegance® roses were developed around a wonderfully practical idea:
Growing beautiful roses shouldn't have to be difficult.
The collection emphasizes roses with classic beauty while selecting heavily for:
Cold hardiness
Disease resistance
Repeat flowering
Reliable landscape performance
Reduced maintenance
All the Rage is an especially good example.
It has enough flower power to feel like a traditional rose garden plant, but the shrub underneath those flowers was bred to behave like a dependable landscape plant.
❄️ Cold Climate Rose Lovers, Take Note
All the Rage is hardy through USDA Zone 4.
That's important.
Many gardeners in colder climates assume they have to sacrifice flower form, color, or repeat blooming to get reliable winter hardiness.
All the Rage was bred specifically to bridge that gap.
And its adaptability isn't limited to cold climates.
Bailey also highlights this variety for its ability to perform in both cooler and warmer growing regions.
That's a pretty impressive range for one rose.
💛 Why Grace Rose Farm Loves It
All the Rage is basically a mood ring for your garden.
Coral one minute.
Apricot the next.
Glowing yellow in the center.
Then lipstick pink as the flowers mature.
We love roses that make you want to walk outside every morning just to see what they're doing today.
But what makes this rose especially useful is everything happening underneath the flowers.
It's cold hardy.
It's disease resistant.
It's self-cleaning.
It blooms steadily throughout the season.
And it grows into a naturally beautiful rounded shrub.
In other words, All the Rage gives you plenty to talk about without giving you much to worry about.
No wonder everyone's talking about it.
🌿 Growing & Care Recommendations
Planting Site: Plant in a location receiving full sun, ideally at least 6 hours of direct sunlight each day.
Soil: Choose fertile, well-drained soil and keep moisture reasonably consistent while the plant establishes.
Spacing: Allow approximately 3–4 feet between plants depending on the effect you want in the landscape.
Watering: Water deeply rather than frequently, concentrating water around the root zone instead of repeatedly wetting the foliage.
Pruning: Easy Elegance® recommends pruning established plants in early spring, primarily removing dead, damaged, weak or crossing stems and shaping as needed.
Deadheading: Optional. All the Rage naturally drops finished flowers cleanly, so constant deadheading isn't necessary to keep the plant attractive.
Fertilizing: A balanced rose fertilizer can be applied as new growth begins in spring.
Mass Planting: This is an especially fun variety to plant in groups. Several plants together amplify the coral-apricot-pink color progression and create an impressive sweep of changing color.
