The Poet's Wife Rose is a rounded deciduous shrub with glossy rich green foliage. The unfading rich yellow double flowers have a lemon fragrance that becomes stronger with age, and bloom continuously throughout summer until frost. Best grown in full sun and rich, moist, slightly acidic well-drained soils. The Poet's Wife has good disease resistance.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Medium Maintenance. Roses are susceptible to powdery mildew, black spot, rust, and rose rosette and require regular fungicide in humid areas that experience a lot of rainfall. Pest issues include aphids, borers, scale, mites thrips, midges, and leafhoppers.
