About Easy Choice™ Bare Root Rose Bush
Rosa ‘WEKliopardoko’ — Easy Choice™
🧬 Hybridizer: Christian Bédard
🌹 Rose Type: Shrub Rose
🌹 An exceptionally healthy, easy-to-grow shrub rose with enormous English-style blooms that transform from reddish pink to rich magenta-red.
Easy Choice™ lives up to its name. This exceptionally healthy and floriferous shrub rose combines huge, petal-packed flowers with months of repeat bloom and a strong, garden-friendly plant.
The flowers are spectacular, reaching an impressive 5–5½ inches across. Each fully double bloom begins in shades of reddish pink with contrasting white petal reverses, creating a beautiful two-tone effect. As the flowers mature, their color deepens toward a richer magenta-red.
The flower form is reminiscent of a classic English Rose, with an abundance of petals creating full, romantic blooms. Multiple flowers are produced on each stem, giving Easy Choice™ plenty of impact when it's in full flower.
Even the foliage gets in on the show. New leaves emerge a rich burgundy-red, slowly transitioning to deep green as they mature.

💛 Why Grace Rose Farm Loves It
Some roses make you work for their beauty. Easy Choice™ isn't one of them.
We love the combination of serious flower power and approachable garden performance. Those enormous 5–5½ inch blooms have the full, romantic appearance rose collectors love, but they're produced on a plant selected for health and reliability.
The coloring makes it even more interesting. Flowers begin reddish pink with white-backed petals, then deepen toward magenta-red as they mature. With flowers at different stages open together, the plant develops beautiful variation rather than looking like one flat block of color.
And don't overlook the foliage. That burgundy-red new growth gives Easy Choice™ another layer of color before gradually turning deep green.
For gardeners who want a rose that's dramatic without being demanding, the name really does say it all.
🌿 Growing & Care Recommendations
Planting Site: Plant in full sun to partial shade.
Spacing: Give Easy Choice™ enough room to develop into its mature 3–4 foot shrub form with good air circulation.
Watering: Water thoroughly after planting and maintain consistent moisture while your bare-root rose establishes.
Deadheading: Removing spent blooms will encourage the plant to continue producing flowers.
Pruning: Prune substantially in early spring after the danger of severe frost has passed but before new growth begins.
Winter Protection: In colder climates, apply approximately 2–4 inches of mulch around the base of the plant for winter protection, then remove excess mulch in early spring.
Feeding: Avoid fertilizing late in the season as the plant prepares for winter dormancy.
