A Founder’s Journey into Our First Exclusives

A Journey Rooted in Storytelling
That desire is what led us to create our Passport of Roses™ collection.
Over the last ten years, since we began Grace Rose Farm in 2015, one of the most meaningful parts of this journey has been the connection we have built with all of you.
From the beginning, I chose to bring you into our world. I shared our daily life growing garden roses on a large scale at our California farm. The wins. The losses. The challenges. The heartbreaks.
We immersed ourselves in the day to day storytelling of what it truly looks like to build something like this. And I believe that openness is one of the reasons Grace Rose Farm has grown into what it is today.
At the time, this kind of transparency was very different from what you typically saw in the flower and horticulture world, but it felt honest, and it created something incredibly special between us.
That same spirit of storytelling lives at the heart of Passport of Roses.
It is a natural extension of our mission to share openly with our community, to create dialogue, and to tell the stories behind the roses we grow and love.
It is also how I approached my book. I shared not just the roses I recommend, but the feelings they evoked, the memories they carried, and the moments they represented in my life.
And now, with Passport of Roses, we are continuing that story in a new and even more intentional way.

A Dream Begins
This journey has taken years.
Years of relationships with world renowned breeders.
Years of walking fields and trial gardens.
Years of studying fragrance, bloom form, health, vigor, and presence.
Years of setbacks and restarts.
Years of listening to what YOU want in roses.
We asked ourselves again and again:
Is this a rose we would plant in our own garden?
Is this a rose worthy of our community?
Is this a rose with a story to tell?
Only a very small number made it through that process. And those roses became our very first exclusives.

The First Four
Our inaugural Passport of Roses collection introduces:
Wilhelmina-Grace™
Adelaide-Grace™
Heloise-Grace™
Delphine-Grace™
Each of these roses was chosen not only for its beauty and performance, but for something deeper.
From the very beginning, I knew that every rose in this collection needed three things:
A time: A time that evokes a feeling or era.
A place: A place that roots the rose in the world.
A face: A face that brings her story to life.
These are not just varieties. They are women. They are muses. They are stories waiting to be discovered in your garden.
Telling the stories of Adelaide-Grace, Heloise-Grace, Wilhelmina-Grace, and Delphine-Grace has felt so aligned with everything Grace Rose Farm has always been.

More Than Roses
This collection is not simply about introducing new varieties. It is about creating a new way to experience roses.
Each bloom is connected to a narrative. Each name carries intention. Each rose is part of a larger world we are building together.
When you plant one of these roses, you are planting more than a flower.
You are planting a story, a place, and a moment in time.
That is what makes Passport of Roses so meaningful to me. It allows us to share beauty in a way that feels richer, deeper, and more personal.

The Journey Ahead
What excites me most is that this is only the beginning.
Behind the scenes, we have dozens more roses already in development with breeders across the world. Each one is being thoughtfully selected, named, and woven into this growing tapestry.
There are more women to meet, more places to discover, and more moments in time to step into.
We cannot wait to share them with you.
As the founder of Grace Rose Farm, this collection is deeply meaningful to me. It represents everything we have been building toward.
Our commitment to excellence, our love of beauty and storytelling, and our belief that roses can connect us to something deeper.
Thank you for being on this journey with us. We are just getting started.
