Pink Fragrance Potted Rose Bush

About Pink Fragrance Potted Rose Bush

Pink Fragrance — Dutch Florist Rose
🧬 Breeder: VIP Roses (Netherlands)
🌹 Introduced: 2018
💗 A romantic Dutch florist rose with layers of ruffled pink petals and an intensely fruity fragrance that lives up to its name.

Pink Fragrance is a gorgeous Dutch florist rose created for gardeners who want the beauty of a specialty cut flower growing right in their own garden. Its flowers open in delicate shades of soft pink, with subtle variations in tone from the center to the outer petals that give each bloom beautiful depth and dimension.

As the flowers open, layers of thin, ruffled petals relax into a romantic, shallow-cupped shape approximately 3–4 inches across. The overall effect is soft, loose, and wonderfully garden-inspired—the kind of flower that looks just as beautiful in a vase as it does on the plant.

And then there's the fragrance. Pink Fragrance was aptly named for its strong, delightful fruity perfume, making this a rose you'll want to stop and smell every time you pass.

💐 From Florist Rose to Garden Rose

Pink Fragrance comes from the world of Dutch cut-flower roses, where varieties are selected not only for color but for the qualities that make an individual flower extraordinary.

Introduced in 2018 by VIP Roses of the Netherlands, Pink Fragrance combines a soft, romantic appearance with something that can sometimes be missing from modern florist roses: serious fragrance.

Its ruffled, shallow-cupped flowers have the relaxed look of a garden rose, while its layered pink coloring gives cut stems beautiful dimension in arrangements.

For gardeners who love bringing armfuls of their own roses indoors, Pink Fragrance offers the opportunity to grow a flower with genuine florist pedigree right outside the door.

💛 Why Grace Rose Farm Loves It

This rose was basically named after its superpower.

Pink Fragrance isn't simply another pretty pink rose. Its powerful fruity perfume is a major part of the experience.

We also love the flower form. Instead of the rigid, high-centered shape associated with traditional Hybrid Teas, Pink Fragrance opens into a soft, shallow cup filled with delicate ruffled petals. The varying shades of pink give the flower even more dimension and create that coveted, freshly gathered florist look.

It's romantic without being overly formal, fragrant without being ordinary, and especially exciting for gardeners who dream of growing their own specialty cut roses.

🌿 Growing & Care Recommendations

Planting Site: Give Pink Fragrance plenty of sunlight to support strong growth and flower production.

Soil: Plant in fertile, loose, well-drained soil.

Watering: Water consistently while allowing excess moisture to drain freely. Avoid keeping the root zone continually waterlogged.

Pruning: Remove dead, diseased, weak, or overcrowded growth as needed, along with spent flowers.

Cutting: Pink Fragrance was developed as a cut-flower rose, so enjoy it! Harvest flowers for bouquets and arrangements while leaving enough healthy foliage on the plant to support continued growth.

Disease Management: Disease resistance is rated as average, so good air circulation and routine monitoring will be especially helpful.
