Haas' Halo Smooth Hydrangea (Hydrangea arborescens 'Haas' Halo') is a lovely garden companion selected for its ability to enhance the romance, texture, and seasonal beauty of a rose garden. With its fast-growing mounding habit, leathery deep blue-green foliage, and huge lacecap clusters of clear white outer flowers surrounding tiny greenish inner flowers that bloom in early summer attracting butterflies, this native North American smooth hydrangea brings bold, luminous charm while helping create a fuller, more layered planting design.
Haas' Halo’s improved drought and heat tolerance make it one of the most adaptable smooth hydrangeas available — a reliable companion even in challenging garden conditions. Its deep blue-green foliage is a garden asset even when not in bloom, providing a rich backdrop for rose beds.
Maintenance Needs
