Café Latte’s Seasonless Versatility - Grace Rose Farm

Café Latte’s Seasonless Versatility

Article: Café Latte’s Seasonless Versatility

If you’re looking for depth and versatility in your designs – no matter the season – Café Latte garden roses are the answer. A Deluxe Garden Rose, this darling is a warm mauve bloom that complements numerous palettes and various other garden roses for so many occasions. You’ll find that working with her will pull inspiration into your designs that you might not have considered before.

Introduced in 2005 by De Ruiter Innovations, Café Latte was an immediate industry favorite for its unique blooms, color, and scent. While she was not available in large quantities initially, demand quickly grew and the number of growers increased from one Kenyan farm to multiple Kenyan farms. They also expanded to our partner Alexandra Farms in Bogota, Colombia.

The Café Latte bloom is created by 30 mocha and mauve-colored petals that emit an intense lavender scent and last up to 10 days. The color and style of this beloved beauty can generate a modern twist on classic styles or evoke a nostalgic vintage familiarity.

And the scent, a warm sweet vanilla and lavender swirl, brings to mind comforting moments without overpowering the atmosphere. It's an altogether cohesive combination of both color and fragrance that’s easily paired with other shades and scents without friction.

While Café Latte has become particularly popular for weddings, it can become a standout in centerpieces and installations for any events or occasion. When designing with this variety, consider a monochromatic palette with other mauve, light brown and copper tones. Or try complementary colors, mixing with purples and greens for a bright contrast.

No matter the occasion, the color combination, or the desired form, Café Latte is available to help you design with guaranteed quality and breathtaking style. Grace Rose Farm, the exclusive licensee of Café Latte, will introduce it as a long-awaited rose bush for gardeners. Café Latte bouquets are available year-round and shipped nationwide.
