We’re seeking a talented creative who understands the current social media landscape, in particular Grace Rose Farm’s culture, brand, products, services and audience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for flowers, gardens, luxury, design, beauty, and home decor and can tell our story through beautiful, inspiring social media and blogs. Conceptual and artistic creativity is the foundation for this role, strong writing and editing skills are crucial, and the ability to execute using technology is an absolute must. You will create dynamic and engaging content for social media platforms and blog campaigns, and be integral to the production of media including images, designs, videos and content copy. Content development and execution - Collaborate with leadership to create engaging, dynamic content for blogs, Instagram, Pinterest, and TikTok. This includes “behind-the-scenes” content, photographs and videos, from our daily life on the farm. Our social media feeds need to be beautiful, timely, cohesive and engaging to drive sales and audience growth. Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules.
Blogging / Influencer Management - Use affiliate platforms such as RewardStyle and Amazon Associates to monetize our lifestyle blog. Create themed blogs inspired by our life, farm, and style that allow our followers to learn more about us and find products we recommend and love.
Photography + photo editing + design sensibility - Create imagery and graphics to be used in social and web graphics. iPhone photography and use of graphic design apps is acceptable. Edit photos for e-commerce, blog posts, publications, e-books, Instagram/FB posts and stories, and Pinterest. Maintain an organized online photo gallery so all members of our marketing, publicity and IT team can use photos for their projects.
Audience growth via social media - This is crucial to the role and all social media activity is geared towards growing our audience, engaging with our current audience, interacting with influencers, and attracting new customers. Communicate with followers, respond to messages in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews. Relay all messages from customers needing help to our customer service team immediately!
Creative planning - Generate new, unique and fresh ideas for our blog, Instagram, and TikTok.
The Team - You will work alongside our Creative Director, Director of Publicity, Web Developer and Marketing Director. You will send messages received via DM to our Customer Service team.
Details - This is a full time position. Only candidates who can work 40 hours per week will be considered. This position is on-site at our Ventura County, CA rose farm initially and then on-site 3 days per week and remote otherwise for the right candidate who demonstrates the ability to work responsibly at home. Only candidates within driving distance of our farm will be considered. Excellent pay, flexible work hours, paid time off, holidays and beautiful roses to take home are a perk!
